Wireless File Transfer Without Cables or Accounts

A simple, cable-free method for moving photos, PDFs, and text between laptop and phone.

The Problem: Friction in Moving Files Across Devices

Transferring a photo or document between a laptop and a smartphone often involves tedious steps: looking for a USB cable, emailing files to yourself, or opening messaging apps and clogging chat threads with temporary attachments.

The Solution: Browser-Based Local Sharing

Nitip - Quick Share eliminates extra steps by establishing a lightweight sharing room for devices on your local Wi-Fi network. Open nitip.app on your laptop and smartphone, and they immediately connect.

  • No USB cables or drivers required.
  • No account registration or password setups.
  • Supports drag and drop as well as direct screenshot pasting.
  • Instant delivery via Socket.io WebSockets.

Honest Service Limitations

To ensure system stability and privacy, Nitip operates within explicit boundaries:

Same Network Requirement: Devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi or local IP network.

Size Limits: Maximum 50 MB per file, and maximum 100 MB total package limit across up to 10 files per send.

24-Hour Expiration: All uploaded items are automatically deleted from server disk after 24 hours.

Step-by-Step Wireless Transfer Process

  1. Connect both your source and target devices to the same local Wi-Fi network.
  2. Open https://nitip.app on both devices.
  3. Select or drop your files (or paste text/screenshot) in Quick Compose.
  4. Click Send. The files will appear in real time on the target device for preview or download.
